I'm pretty sure it's a BIOS (non-UEFI machine because in order to make a bootable USB I had to use Rufus and check the "fixes for old BIOS" button. So I boot the live media and proceed with the installation. If I check "Erase disk and install" installation completes and then [16:38] the OS doesn't boot. If I check manual install and try to partition the disk myself + select /sda for bootloader installation I get an error message that says I should create an EFI partition. If I choose to continue with the installation then the OS doesn't boot again. [16:38] I don't know if it could be relevant info but the same happens on all Ubuntu flavors while I could install and boot Linux Mint on that same machine without problem. [16:38] Any help would be appreciated. [16:46] Only a guess but [16:46] oh they gone === tomg_ is now known as tomg
