[06:35] hey [06:51] PR snapd#11820 opened: tests/lib/nested: fix unbound variable [07:05] morning [07:17] pstolowski: hi. [07:17] pstolowski: I was looking at your old PR https://github.com/snapcore/snapd/pull/6900, and was wondering if support for "base: none" ever made its way into Snapcraft? [07:17] PR #6900: overlord/snapstate, snap: support base = "none" [07:18] I tried switching a snap to it yesterday without much luck, since it was trying to install a snap called "none". Was just wondering if it has bitrotted or if it never worked. [07:20] jamesh: oh, tbh I don't remember, that's a very old PR, we need to check with Sergio [07:20] pstolowski: no problem. Looks like it would be pretty easy to get working. [07:21] jamesh: thanks for pointing this out [07:25] pstolowski: it looks like this would be useful for theme snaps. I switched gtk-common-themes over to using "base: bare" a while ago so it wouldn't be pulling in a large base snap that might otherwise be unused. Using "base: none" would simplify things even further, and make it impossible to ship commands/hooks. [07:27] ooh having a way to try and make sure theme snaps aren't able to ship commands/hooks would be awesome (from a security pov since we grant global-auto-connect for these so can get pulled in without a user being aware) [07:28] jamesh: yes, absolutely, that was the main motivation afair. I'm surprised it fell through cracks and surfaced only now === alan_g_ is now known as alan_g [08:52] PR snapd#11821 opened: spread: switch back to building ubuntu-image from source [09:12] PR snapd#11820 closed: tests/lib/nested: fix unbound variable [09:42] PR snapd#11799 closed: many: optional recovery keys [10:37] PR snapd#11822 opened: interfaces/opengl: update allowed PCI accesses for RPi [10:57] PR snapd#11321 closed: overlord: fix issue with snapshot restoring on CentOS <â›” Blocked> [11:17] PR snapd#11792 closed: many: structured startup timings [11:17] PR snapd#11821 closed: spread: switch back to building ubuntu-image from source [13:17] PR snapcraft#3755 closed: meta: add slots [13:22] PR snapcraft#3756 closed: parts: fix parallel build count [13:35] PR core#132 opened: extra-files: add udev rule for snap auto-import [13:53] PR snapd#11113 closed: configcore: add core.system.ctrl-alt-del-action config option [13:53] PR snapd#11822 closed: interfaces/opengl: update allowed PCI accesses for RPi [14:57] PR snapcraft#3753 closed: parts: expand CRAFT_PROJECT_VERSION and CRAFT_PROJECT_GRADE [16:42] PR snapcraft#3757 opened: Give priority to local environment [22:03] PR snapcraft#3758 opened: environment: get LD_LIBRARY_PATH
