PlanckWa1kHi!  Is Xubuntu able to boot from an NVMe drive?07:25
PlanckWa1kOh hmm, I might be able to answetr this myself.  Looks like no, due to NVME support being compiled as a module instead of into the kernel.07:31
PlanckWa1kGuess I'll be compiling a custom kernel :-(07:31
xu-help0wHey folks, first time here so sorry for any etiquette issues! I'm loving Xubuntu 22.04 but my window tile right key isn't working. I've looked through the settings and it seems to be set up correctly - tile left works fine. Not sure what to do next, any suggestions?09:16
xu-help0wAsked on askubuntu, sorry to bother you all :D09:37
PlanckWa1kLooks like xubuntu can be made to boot from NVMe after using initramfs-tools to load the nvme module from initd.img, and updating grub config to load the initrd. Not exactly user-friendly :-S09:52

xu-irc43wHi everyone16:34
xu-irc43wAnyone can help with a problem I have with grub not detecting my Windows installation in a separate SSD?16:35
xu-irc43wIf I change the BIOS to boot from that SSD it also doesn't work16:36
xu-irc43wWhat happened with boot-repair? I cannot find the link to download it. Can it be used with Xubuntu 22, kernel 5.15.0-33-generic ??16:58
xu-irc43wSomething I haven't tried is to use the Windows boot repair tool as I am concerned it may damage my linux boot. Any suggestions about that please?17:05
