[15:44] <diogenes_Vx15> user|14, when you get to the selection menu, hit 'e' on your keyboard, go down with arrow keys until you find the line that starts with linux and add nomodeset there and hit ctrl+x

[15:45] <ubottu> Systems with certain graphics chipsets may not boot properly out of the box. "Temporarily Add a Kernel Boot Parameter for Testing" as discussed at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/KernelBootParameters to add the "nomodeset" parameter there.
