[19:09] <PeGaSuS> basically, my "test laptop" has a broken screen so I "attached" it to an external VGA monitor. but I want that monitor to be used everywhere, including the login screen

[19:33] <PeGaSuS> seems that creating `/etc/skel/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/displays.xml` solves the issue for all users after login. for the login screen, no worries since we just need to go to the left with the mouse and the login screen will appear
