[15:24] Eickmeyer: Um, something has changed with audio in one of the last updates. https://i.imgur.com/iv2Fsz3.png [15:25] Eickmeyer: notice that pavucontrol and audio system settings agree but that the audio dropdown does not. [15:26] Eickmeyer: worse is that the audio drop down seems to be a correct representation of where something like firefox will send the audio. [15:35] pkexec seems to fail too. [15:42] now works from commandline [15:49] Eickmeyer: rebooted still had the same problem... reran autojack and it seems to be working correctly... well it boots with powersave and boost. [15:51] even though that is not my setting [16:14] OvenWerks: I can't replicate the bug, at least I've never noticed the problem. Have you added the kubuntu backports? [17:49] Eickmeyer: wierd that it happened both before and after a reboot but now seems to have gone away. I will have to see if I can get it to happen again. [17:52] Eickmeyer: another thng to test. Try changing cpu governor from controls. For me it locks up the GUI (well mouse moves) because I get the PW box for pkexec but the PW doesn't do anything. I had to ctl-alt-F2 and kill -9 studio-controls to get the GUI unstuck. So maybe I have a bad command. If I use the command from the CL it just works, no PW required. [23:06] OvenWerks: Also, unable to reproduce.
