[12:24] <tomreyn> YeOldHinnerk: i would be surprised, if someone was banned by mistake. it's not impossible, but we do check each others' actions.
[12:26] <tomreyn> an example situation that would also lead to a ban is when your irc client continuously misbehaves or your internet connection is unstable and you get ban forwarded to ##fix_your_connection

[12:29] <tomreyn> If you did that many, many times without leaving the channel, or joining, then disconnecting each time, this could have been a result.

[16:22] <tomreyn> looks like consistently bad connectivity / short interval reconnects to me. but can also be a misconfigured client.
[16:23] <leftyfb> ok. They did ask for legitimate help back in May with no activity since other than the disconnects and nick changes
[16:24] <tomreyn> i have no doubt on their legitimacy, it's just that the many reconnects throughout the day can be tiresome.
