ebarrettojdstrand, since openjdk-8 is still in security support, I would expect that we would patch it normally for Ubuntu 16.04 ESM. However our last update to it was December last year: https://ubuntu.com/security/notices/USN-5202-107:30
ebarrettoI remember that this year they moved between repositories, and Michael was not able to get the sources anymore. I will ask him if that changed or anything related to openjdk-8 changed that I might not know of07:31

jdstrandebarretto: oh, I was wrong, yes, I see that 8u312-b07-0ubuntu1~16.04 made it to ESM. not that 322 and 332 have since been released. I also see that https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openjdk-8 shows 8u312-b07 being copied forward to bionic and later in universe in the normal way Ubuntu has done with openjdk (ie, uploaded, but limited testing and support)13:10
