Using the liveserver to build an image creates a quite large image with a lot of packages in it even with no software installs defined in user-data. I cannot find any docs on how to build a very minimal install - kind of like whats inside of the cloudimage. Does anyone have any pointers on how to do that, or do I simply need a post-install-script that strips away packages? [20:51] xernus: maybe https://docs.openstack.org/diskimage-builder/latest/ is something for you [20:57] frickler: I am using packer and I was hoping there'd be a way to do it with the liveimage, but you might be right that it is either stripping packages or building the liveimage itself from scratch [20:59] depending upon what you're building running debootstrap yourself might make sense; or perhaps seeding images into maas or fai or similar === RoyK^ is now known as RoyK === Hash is now known as stoned [23:54] Hey yall, I have a 20.04 box that is bound to an AD domain and unlike all my other machines it frequently just stops authenticating [23:54] Sometimes I have to reboot it as often as 3-4 times to get it to work [23:54] I've tailed all the SSSD logs and can't find any errors [23:56] check the AD logs? [23:58] Good call
