[07:10] <mmikowski> ok, as I mentioned, I think we can really help with Kubuntu and KDE testing more up-front. With 20.04, it was very stable by the time we really got underway.

[07:11] <RikMills> I was very constrained on backports for 20.04 due to things like Qt version
[07:12] <mmikowski> Yeah, kind of a blessing perhaps. It was stable enough to build on.
[07:13] <mmikowski> 5.25.0, um, yeah. We'd like to help catch those sorts of bugs before they become support issue. It could be a virtuous cycle - we've got the interest and resources to perform regression tests, and that can feed into improving Kubntu and KDE *before* releases breaks existing systems.
[07:16] <mmikowski> Again, please let me know when 5.25.1 testing is around, and I'll put the team on it.  We'll do the hardware test + one full desktop check. Unless there's a regression, at least with this hardware, the intel_backlight interface looks good.
