Iamthehuman1 | Hello. I'm having a weird persisting [through reboots] problem with Ardour, the meters bounce as expected, the spectrum analysers bounce as expected, but there is no sound from the existing tracks and also poor-mans-monitoring ain't working i.e. no sound is being monitored. I'm gonna go update some software on the servers, I'd be really happy if I could get the Ardour back to normal today as I need to record more in the evening. Cheers | 08:21 |

Iamthehuman1 | Pulse and JACK are up just fine and I did check that the master outs are connceted. I think it may be just the Ardour file being fonky | 08:23 |
Iamthehuman1 | yeah, lemme try that now | 08:23 |
Iamthehuman1 | Ok, sorry for the channel noise, that was just a broken Ardour file/conf. I made another 'mono + stereo for pulse capture + 6x mono for stashing failed takes'-file and now the monitoring and playback and everything is good again | 08:27 |
Iamthehuman1 | Yesterday I figured out that monitoring your own singing voice via monitoring is just a dumb idea, as one will hear that "I'm hitting it! I'm hitting it (the notes)", but then it just turns out to be that I was just hitting the wrong notes, but cannot tell, because "they sound the same", lol, amateurs | 08:32 |
Iamthehuman1 | also I get the point of "take the other ear piece of the ear phones off your ear, like from the very beginning, mmmkay?" | 08:33 |
HaraldArtner[m] | Hi!It is not possible to activate two audio outputs at the same time. But need it for headphones (usb) and speakers | 15:52 |
kveremitz | it is, in various audio systems .. which one are you using? | 17:39 |
