[02:05] Good evening: Someone here has reported bugs with version 3.6.1 of Telegram Desktop for Ubuntu 22.04 LTS ???... In my case, I can't switch accounts or change settings because the app suddenly closes. [02:13] camibohp, please don't spam multiple channels with the same question [02:15] Sorry, I use telegram desktop frequently on my job, and this bug is a headache for me. [02:23] So why not ask on #ubuntu? where there are lots of people who might actually use Telegram... There are 53 people here, about half use the matrix and tyhe other half? I don't know, I use irssi myself. [02:27] camibohp: should you have a repeatable bug, open a terminal and type ubuntu-bug telegram [02:28] Then follow the directions to file a bug [14:27] I'm having a horrible time trying to install several programs. I keep running into error "apt : Depends: libapt-pkg6.0 (>= 2.4.5) but it is not going to be installed" but apt also tells me it is installed. Same for libsystemd0. [14:28] Steam was doing it at first but somehow I stumbled around enough to get that one installed. Wine64 installed fine but Wine32 is giving me the same errors. [15:05] There's about 4 other posts out there like this one: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1410718/cannot-install-wine32-in-jammy-22-04 [15:05] And the answer is "phased updates" which I'm unfamiliar with [15:06] His error reply is identical to the one I'm getting [16:04] harrec: This might be a better question for #ubuntu:libera.chat . More people there to help in a timely manner. [16:05] But do try this (without quotes:" sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386" and try your command again. [16:19] I had done that, but I was able to get it resolved by checking off the box for Pre-Released updates in the software manager [16:20] Thanks for your response! [20:31] harrec: Oh yeah, never leave the pre-released updates box checked. That's the proposed repository, and it's bound to leave your stuff broken.
