I was playing around with the arduino-ide and ran into a this long standing bug here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/listserialportsc/+bug/1916278 which leads to a crash when starting the IDE. I tracked it down and submitted a fix, it looks like a required library was not linked properly. Would anyone be up to help me get it in/sponsor?
