[01:35] grrr.. I think I spot a casper change on focal.5 [01:36] guiverc: Blah. [01:38] guiverc: Does sil2100 (or whoever's in charge of it this time) plan on making release candidate ISOs prior to release? Or is it just "test the daily like crazy and if all goes well the last daily becomes the release"? [01:39] there is a point where daily will become the RC.. I hoped it'd be today; but likely tomorrow.. the iso.qa.ubuntu.com will tell you (you'll see 20.04.5 as an option) but I always just use daily as it'll be the latest regardless of if daily/RC/final etc [01:40] RC for today !! ... very much wishful thinking I suspect ! [01:40] OK. I'm planning on giving Studio a thorough scrub once the RC hits so that I can help with testing and not use up all my energy, but I was getting worried that it wasn't here when I saw the intended release date. [02:18] casper not a great concern thankfully; 1.445.2 reverted back to 1.445.1 (we'd tested .1 awhile back) [02:20] * guiverc adds change maybe not just today's ISO; I didn't update my ISO over weekend as I recall (due lack of time), thus exploring/noticing changes since my last zsync.. [16:22] -queuebot:#lubuntu-devel- Builds: Lubuntu Desktop amd64 [Focal 20.04.5] (20220829) has been added === genii_ is now known as genii [22:05] arraybolt3: fyi: Lukasz's call for testing 20.04.5 RC just hit my inbox... [22:06] guiverc: Saw them build a while ago and hit a really bad bug in Ubuntu Desktop :( [22:08] I've not looked, only turning my PC on (in other room)... so only noticed ML post bad bug is ☹️ [22:10] Something's awry with Ubiquity it looks like (shake it in just the wrong way and you can get the WiFi drivers to fail to install every time), so it shouldn't affect Lubuntu. But it does make it tough to install Ubuntu onto a system with Broadcom WiFi and install updates during installation. [22:10] This very same thing worked in Kubuntu way long ago. (hey that's an idea, maybe I should download Kubuntu and see what it does) [22:11] But right now I have a kitten on my lap so :P [22:27] :) @ kitten on lap, but don't give my dog ideas please (he's part great dane; photos still show my last dog)
