[11:29] <Me88> I have a decade old netbook with 3G of memory and runs fine EXCEPT the awful slow snap based firefox.
[11:31] <Me88> I removed the installed snaps and held snapd so I don't get the slow firefox snap reinstalled.
[11:34] <Me88> So right now I can either write a script with wget to check firefox version and then wget/ap install if new one exists.  I would then add script to cron to run every 2-3 weeks.
[11:35] <Me88> OR I could just wipe out Lubuntu and install Debian/lxqt ?
[11:46] <Me88> Since you not a talkative bunch I guess I'll go with Debian Bullseye.
