[13:41] <jrwren> i needed to look at a fresh haproxy 1.8 behavior so I tried to spin up 18.04 on a never before used lxc and it didn't work. I don't know why I thought to use lxc, but when it didnt work I used docker which worked just fine.

[13:48] <cmaloney> Got my new (to me) router and a 1.2GB down modem
[13:49] <cmaloney> and this thing is plodding away at less than 40Mbps

[13:49] <cmaloney> and I'm being generous
[14:02] <jrwren> IME networking is always wonky. avoid it as much as possible. use docker -net host if you can ;)
