=== Mirv__ is now known as Mirv [07:28] -queuebot:#kubuntu-devel- Builds: Kubuntu Desktop amd64 [Focal 20.04.5] has been updated (20220831) [12:03] Hi all [22:03] http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/438/builds/257634/testcases [22:03] Needs ISO tesing, if anyone has some time to spare [22:06] RikMills: I'll see if I can squeeze that in (I'm finishing up with Studio, the remnants of that test should be good for an autoresize test). [22:07] ty :) [22:34] RikMills: We may have some results that are useful for this effort. @Eickmeyer mentioned we are already effectively using the same packages as found in 22.04 LTS at https://kfocus.org/try, and that has been tested extensively (Desktop and Hardware). So maybe we might list all package versions and compare to ensure that assessment is correct. [22:34] While that certainly should not be the only testing, it might give a good deal of additional confidence. [22:35] mmikowski: if you mean my ISO testing link, that is for focal 20.04, not jammy 22.04 [22:36] Oh, whoops, yeah just read that :\ [22:36] sorry, my bad. [22:36] I missed the first line... [22:36] no problem. it is easy to forget we still have that LTS going [22:36] for now [22:37] How I would like to forget :) We just finished a round of HW testing on the latest kernel update for 20.04. It looks good, btw. [22:39] Aaaaaaah. cool, and good to know [22:43] Same HW tests as before with more peripheral empahsis. Tests passed include screen connections, microphone, hdmi, mouse, keyboard, bluetooth, audio. Also tested to ensure all function survive sleep/resume. Can send you detailed logs as before. In fact, could probably just add you to project and you could fetch logs on your own, if you are interested. [22:46] I might be up for that ongoing. This just requires some quick smoke testing of the ISO testcases though [23:03] Sure Rik :) [23:17] The Encrypted release expects you to click on release notes. In the newer releases, it launches a pretty ugly kate editing session. But in FF, it seems to do nothing at all. [23:17] release test case that is. [23:32] not a regression IIRC [23:33] After clicking done, it really took a long time to let go, but it eventually did. Rebooted, and will smoke test, and pass the test case.
