[08:26] Hello everyone, recently updated my system from zorin os to ubuntu studio 22.04 kde plasma, Since my wifi is disconnecting once in a while and i need to manually reconnect or even sometimes reboot my pc. I have been looking on the internet and there is a kernel update to apply, hence whatever i try to get the 5.19 kernel it still stays stuck at 5.15. Any idea ho to solve this issue? [14:15] john38: I'm fairly certain your issue has nothing to do with your desktop environment. You might have better luck getting help from the Ubuntu chat since there's more activity, so click here to get that help: #ubuntu:libera.chat [23:53] hello guys. I'm relatively new to ubuntu/linux distributions and I run into a problem. I have installed ubuntu and totally removed windows and my SSD card PC SN720 NVMe 512 GB is not available anymore. I mention that it wasn't available in the installation proces either. I have am Lenovo all in one 520-27ICB system. I have read and tried several actions for repairing the issue but none worked. I will be extremely gratefull if [23:53] someone has the time and knowledge to help me regarding this problem [23:54] cojmeliegrigore: Can you poke around in your BIOS and see if your drive is set to RAID mode? If so, change it to AHCI. [23:59] arraybolt3: i have tried this action. first of all in my system's BIOS there is no RAID mode and the SATA configuration has always been set to AHCI. anyhow meanwhile i run into another big issue, i have broken the display of my lenovo and now use an TV connected to hdmi as monitor, but it works only after the systems boots. I cannot acces BIOS anymore. well i can do it blindly if is necessary.
