[06:17] Unit193, did you send the patch to debian? [06:29] Nope, not a clue what I'd title that. Only pinged you because it came up. [07:29] Urgh. I think Mir's hitting a riscv64 toolchain bug :( [07:32] RAOF: what is going wrong? [07:38] oh no [12:42] RAOF, just in case you missed it, I responded to your comment on bug 1976623. [12:43] Bug 1976623 in evolution (Ubuntu Jammy) "SRU for evolution 3.44.4" [Medium, In Progress] https://launchpad.net/bugs/1976623 === sem2peie- is now known as sem2peie [15:42] am I right in thinking that... https://github.com/canonical/ubuntu-desktop-installer ... isn't a fork/continuation of ... https://launchpad.net/ubiquity [15:42] i.e. "ubuntu-desktop-installer" (what a vague name) doesn't borrow anything from the debian-installer / parman (unlike Ubiquity which does) [15:42] also is Canonical abandoning launchpad for github now? [16:07] stevenm_: the new desktop installer is a frontend & extension for subiquity which has been used by Ubuntu Server for a while now [16:08] many Canonical projects are on github now to make it easier for people to contribute to them [17:13] hey, I just got a notification that my membership in https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-openstack-dev is about to expire and that I should contact the DMB? Apparently ~ubuntu-openstack-dev isn't a team that allows it's members to renew their own memberships? === justache is now known as justJingo [20:01] !ping [20:01] pong! [20:02] !pong [20:02] pong is an old atari game. It's fun! [20:02] * genii runs away [20:04] !king [20:04] kong [20:07] !ping [20:07] pong! [20:07] C'mon, Matrix, start working! [20:08] Nope. Sorry for the noise, Element has gone severely glitchy and I'm trying to diagnose it. [22:13] !ping [22:13] pong! [22:13] !king [22:13] rs2009: o/ [22:13] kong [22:13] arraybolt3: o/ [22:14] (If you're referencing the mess with all the tons of pings and stuff, that was me diagnosing why Matrix decided to stop working right. Turns out it's a Matrix-to-IRC bridge problem.) [22:14] (woke up in the middle of the night to work on Unity7, it's 3:45 am here) [22:14] arraybolt3: ah [22:14] rs2009: Oh cool! [22:15] I gotta set up the Matrix-to-IRC bridge, and maybe work on Telegram bridges for these channels too [22:17] rs2009: Oh hey, while I'm right here, I don't know if you saw it or not, but I was able to get the Ubuntu Unity ISO to boot. However, it booted into a GNOME shell rather than into Unity. [22:17] And any attempts to boot into Unity were met with crashes in one way or another. [22:18] arraybolt3: oh yes, I'm aware of these issues. They should be fixed in today's ISO [22:18] Ah, nice. I'll hopefully get around to testing them day after tomorrow (I'm tied up with KDE stuff at the moment). [22:21] arraybolt3: ack, thanks :)
