=== sem2peie- is now known as sem2peie [08:13] waveform: RE livecd-rootfs is consistently failing with "No space left on device". Mp for livecd-rootfs is now up for review https://code.launchpad.net/~ikapelyukhin/livecd-rootfs/+git/livecd-rootfs/+merge/429913 [13:10] hey o/ it looks like there's some grub2 _binary_ packages sitting in kinetic's unnaproved queue, for grub2 2.06-2ubuntu11 (which is now in -proposed, so the source pkg made it). [14:53] there is a bug in texlive (really beamer) that is fixed in a version after the one ubuntu provides for 22.04. Where is the best place to request that the new version is packaged? [16:09] lesshaste: we don't necessarily pull in new versions to stable releases - that's what we mean by stable releases being stable. If a fix is needed, the focus is on the bug and what must be done to fix it, not the newer version. Normally we cherry-pick bugfixes. [16:09] To start with, please ensure that a good quality bug report exists in Launchpad. With good quality information, people can advise on the specifics. [17:54] lesshaste: probably "ubuntu-bug texlive-latex-recommended" is the starting point [19:19] Eickmeyer: short answer is that audacity doesn't build for Sid, either. I've got fixes for the first 2 problems now, but I'm in the mode where a fixed build failure just exposes another, so I don't know yet how many more fixes are needed. [19:20] dbungert: Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. I got ahold of diddledani and had a track opened in case I need to seed the snap for Studio, so at least there's that, but I agree, it's not looking good. [19:32] I've not got it done yet [19:36] @kenvandine you about/ [19:36] ? [19:43] ok, I think I got it sorted... latest/stable/22.10 opened and subsequently closed again. [19:44] I did it for amd64. Do you need armhf and arm64, too? [19:44] (I ask because the builds in armhf and arm64 are not up-to-date due to changes in upstream audacity build process breaking anything non-x86) [19:50] aah, I don't think it matters about what arch I use to open then close with. The branch is now present, with nothing in it (closed) [20:22] diddledani: Nope, that should do it! [20:23] 🤞🏻
