rain_man[m]hi09:23
rain_man[m]i just did a fresh install and connected another screen to my new laptop. When i try to drag a window to the other screen, i can see the cursor but not the window. Even when I right click on the other screen i do not see anything. The only change i made that might be affecting rendering behaviour was to increase global scale to 200% on the primary laptop screen because everything was tiny. Please help, this is a weird issue but09:23
rain_man[m]probably an easy fix somewhere09:23
rain_man[m]i changed global scale back to 100% and it made no difference09:28
malfunction54rain_man[m], do you have any way of testing this in a non-studio distro?  Wondering if it's studio-specific or a broader issue15:18
Eickmeyer[m]Most likely it's a broader issue with KDE Plasma, as we make no changes to the source code.15:21
Eickmeyer[m]But hard to know as based on that description it's hard to diagnose, and that was several hours ago.15:21
Eickmeyer[m]The base Ubuntu Studio configs don't touch scaling.15:22
Eickmeyer[m]This much I do know: X11 doesn't like to mix scaling. That's something that Wayland is built to resolve.15:24
