[09:23] hi [09:23] i just did a fresh install and connected another screen to my new laptop. When i try to drag a window to the other screen, i can see the cursor but not the window. Even when I right click on the other screen i do not see anything. The only change i made that might be affecting rendering behaviour was to increase global scale to 200% on the primary laptop screen because everything was tiny. Please help, this is a weird issue but [09:23] probably an easy fix somewhere [09:28] i changed global scale back to 100% and it made no difference [15:18] rain_man[m], do you have any way of testing this in a non-studio distro? Wondering if it's studio-specific or a broader issue [15:21] Most likely it's a broader issue with KDE Plasma, as we make no changes to the source code. [15:21] But hard to know as based on that description it's hard to diagnose, and that was several hours ago. [15:22] The base Ubuntu Studio configs don't touch scaling. [15:24] This much I do know: X11 doesn't like to mix scaling. That's something that Wayland is built to resolve.
