kanashiro[m]teward @teward:libera.chat: did I read the log in a wrong way? Is that a real nginx issue? 00:03
tewardkanashiro[m]: yes, but i have no idea what causes it00:03
tewardit's been reported in Debian as well00:03
tewardhttps://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=98455400:03
-ubottu:#ubuntu-server- Debian bug 984554 in libnginx-mod-stream-geoip "libnginx-mod-stream-geoip: ngx_stream_geoip_module.so: undefined symbol: ngx_stream_add_variable" [Important, Open]00:03
tewardbut i haven't been able to replicate it.  anywhere00:03
tewardlooks like it's an nginx-full issue on Debian00:04
kanashiro[m]Aha, I see00:04
kanashiro[m]teward @teward:libera.chat: thanks for double checking it 00:04
tewardi'm doing a test on 20.04 and seeing with nginx-full installed if an upgrade does this00:05
tewardi'm wondering though if it's a red herring00:05
tewardand a race-condition type problem00:05
kanashiro[m]Apparently I did not go through the entire log 00:05
tewardit's the line right before the one you quoted00:06
tewardRTL display is a pain though00:06
kanashiro[m]agreed 00:06
tewardactually this is a different issue00:07
tewardbut it's similar there's symbols and stuff missing00:07
tewardwe'll see if my 20.04 -> 22.04 with nginx-full works xD00:07
kanashiro[m]Fingers crossed 00:09
tewardE:NOREPRO00:10
tewardkanashiro[m]: worked in an amd64 container00:11
tewardi can't rule out other things as problems so00:11
tewardbut ye invalid "Invalid" status is "Invalid"00:11

xibalbahey all, i'm deploying a VM onto a LAN where IPv6 only is configured, no ipv4 dhcp, only ipv6. i added accept-ra and dhcp6 true to my netplan config file.12:33
xibalbait doesn't seem to be picking up the IPv6 SLAAC address and assigning itself12:33
xibalbabut i can see the ipv6 route advertisement via tcpdump12:33
xibalbatcpdump -vvvv -ttt -i ens160 icmp6 and 'ip6[40] = 134'12:33
xibalba`ip a`, shows only the link local fe80 address12:35
xibalbahmm sysctl net.ipv6.onf.ens160.accept_ra = 0 still12:37
xibalbatoday i learned ... SLAAC only works on ipv6 networks of size 6412:45
