[02:12] <cartdrige> Try different resolution, try to put a flat color background instead of a wallpaper to see if it does the same, select another wallpaper and check the setting to fit-to-screen then later to zoom-to-fit see if it changes, if it's a display bug, try a live distribution of another OS/distrib to see.

[02:18] <dragon_> and it is fit the screen, or rather, stretch to screen works best, still the line on top

[02:31] <guiverc> dragon_, I'm not aware of any updates for 22.04; though you can use a later LXQt by adding lubuntu backports PPA.

[13:40] <dragon_> after upgrade to 22.10 yesterday, the screen or monitor goes dormant very quickly. The entire settings manager is new, and I can`t find any options for the dormant intervals?

[18:01] <arraybolt3> If not, run "sudo apt update", then "sudo apt full-upgrade", then "sudo apt install lubuntu-desktop", and see if that fixes it. Maybe you accidentally uninstalled whatever component has the monitor settings.
[18:20] <dragon_> I might have, I just pressed "Y" everytime on the upgrade, but it looked right at the time
[18:22] <dragon_> I know there was a question on keeping the old monitor settings application, or install the new, I installed by presseing "Y" with out further investigation

[18:25] <dragon_> This has to be a flaw of some kind, but I would not expect it to be missed after beta version 
[18:28] <dragon_> I get the the same monitior settings, very simple no option for setting time interval or dormant modes, menue-preferances-lxqt settings-monitor settings-

[18:29] <dragon_> IT might be a very simple thing I am missing too
[18:30] <dragon_> in some operative systems, the dormant settings are under power management
[18:33] <dragon_> there was something there, under "idle", and the icon or function was nearly blanked out

[23:18] <dragon_> or rather, the dormant options in power manager
