[07:08] <slave_blocker> It is giving me the error that it can't install the grub

[07:14] <arraybolt3> slave_blocker: Hmm, actually I don't know exactly how that works. You might be able to drop to a terminal to extract the logs (try pressing Ctrl+Alt+F3).

[07:47] <arraybolt3> Windows Boot Manager is something in the firmware, if I'm understanding correctly. It shouldn't affect your ability to run Ubuntu.

[07:52] <slave_blocker> as a side note my bios seems sort of funky
[07:53] <slave_blocker> sometimes it does not recognize the hard drives
[07:53] <arraybolt3> Hmm, that might be the problem, perhaps your firmware is being problematic.
[07:53] <arraybolt3> Try installing without LVM and see how that works, maybe? Xubuntu doesn't use LVM as far as I know.
