squirrelwalk | Hello all, stupid question for you. I'm trying to build a graph of updates to software packages in a repo, eg version 1 -> version 2 -> version 3 and so on for each package. AIUI that's not really how apt works (please correct me if wrong), and instead a snapshot of a repo will only tell me that for a given package name and release I should have | 17:00 |
---|---|---|
squirrelwalk | version N. Is there a way to gather that data, perhaps a revision history of the Packages files? | 17:00 |
squirrelwalk | Alternatively, if that data is already available somewhere and I just don't know it, I'd appreciate a pointer to it. | 17:00 |
ravage | i dont think this is the right room for this | 17:01 |
squirrelwalk | Ah, apologies. Could you point me in the right direction? | 17:01 |
ravage | not sure. you can try #ubuntu and i think there is a ubuntu dev room too | 17:02 |
ravage | check out the list :) | 17:02 |
squirrelwalk | sure, thanks. If it's alright I'll keep hanging out here in case someone does know the answer or already has that data? | 17:03 |
ravage | sure | 17:03 |
