[20:07] <OvenWerks> Now, I had already turned jack off in controls and set fireiwre devices to use alsa drivers. However, I have to disable controls alltogether (rename autojack.desktop in /etc/xdg/autostart) or anything that tried to use pipewire-pulse would fail with an error. So first thing to do in controls is to detect if the system is supposed to be using PW rather than PA in which case never manually

[20:09] <OvenWerks> Next problem, installing those packages... Probably libspa-0.2-jack, seems to make the system use the pw jack libs and not jackd libs. So from boot carla, et.all, use pw-jack by default. Not what I really wanted, but I think I can find directions to reverse that.
[20:11] <OvenWerks> Next problem (or feature?) jack_control seems to now talk to pw and so cannot start a jackdbus instance. I will have to see if any of it's commands are worth anything. Will it set rate, latency, etc.
