| rrr | hello again, I can't seem to get network-manager to create an wireless network through my new wifi card. Which does connect to wireless networks ok and hostapd worked too. I would like to make a "hotspot" rather than a "ad-hoc" network. Can someone point me in the right direction? | 00:08 |

| rrr | I am having some difficulty configuring network-manager to create a wifi hotspot. I can use hostapd and dnsmasq but I much prefer to manage it with the gui, well, I don't know either way would be good. However network-manager appears to fail to establish the wireless completely. It might work with ad-hoc mode but that doesn't connect in my case because android devices don't like them, I suspect. Can I try anything? | 18:08 |
