[17:21] @DarinMiller yea i did , but it didn't worked (re @DarinMiller: Try deleting wifi connection, then add it.) [23:54] hello, I was wondering currently Kubuntu 22.10 is using KDE 5.25.5 which is not recommended. Today I reported a bug in KDE.org bug tracker and they answered me with an automatic bot: "Please note that Plasma 5.25.5 is not supported for much longer by KDE; supported versions are 5.24, and 5.26 or newer.". May I assume that no updates will take place [23:54] until Kubuntu 23.04? [23:56] SirLouen: Ubuntu handles backporting bug and security fixes to older verisons of software. Whether upstream supports it or not doesn't really matter much once it's accepted into Ubuntu. If there are problems that the Kubuntu developers are willing and able to fix in KDE, they will fix it. [23:58] arraybolt3 what means backporting bugs? [23:59] oh i understand what you mean now [23:59] SirLouen: If a bug is discovered in a newer version of KDE and is fixed, the Kubuntu developers can take that fix and apply it to older versions of KDE, regardless of whether the KDE developers officially release that fix for the older version of KDE or not. [23:59] Oh LOL, not backporting the bugs, backporting the fixes for the bugs :P [23:59] they wont support my kwin for sure :P i'm going to try to upgrade with backports ppa
