I installed this update, which appeared to update the BIOS successfully. I then booted into Kubuntu and saw that Discover wanted me to restart the computer again so that I could install updates. | lordievader | roadrunner56: Not sure if Discover does things differently, but normally in Linux you update your system while it is running. You only need to restart for certain things like kernel updates, kernel module updates, libc, that sort of thing. You could check with `apt list --upgradable` which packages can be upgraded (and upgrade them with `sudo apt full-upgrade`). | 07:22 |
