mmikowskiahoneybun, RikMills We saw an issue with boot image when building initramfs a with the bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1842320 on a NUC. The solution was to change compression to xz. This works, although this is not included in the live USB image (that is changed as little as possible).  Let me know if you want more01:16

mmikowskiRikMills: Cool. ahoneybun: you can drop a file in /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d to set kernel compression level, although I do like the 800x600 solution for the grub menu as well.21:48
