[02:02] At the risk of jinxing it, I may have sorted out the problems with Nautilus. [02:03] I think it all went back to when I killed the tracker service. [02:04] Tracker periodically fires up nautilus under the covers, so that's why I kept seeing it come up in my process list. [02:05] Something about how the two work together is likely responsible for nautilus freezing up in the context of a screwed up tracker database. [02:06] I ultimately had to turn file searching off, nuke the tracker database, reset the tracker and nautilus settings, and then flip everything back on. [03:03] nice
