(lspci -nn -k | grep -A3 Wireless; sudo iw phy) | nc termbin.com 9999 [20:16] https://i.imgur.com/o4cSpjh.png [20:16] first see this [20:16] may help [20:16] https://termbin.com/akk5 [20:19] Supported interface modes: * IBSS * managed * AP [20:19] ? [20:20] milesdredd, your device is missing the AP mode, so it can't work as a hotspot [20:20] In the output of iw phy, it should have had * AP under the * managed line [20:20] what should i do for that? [20:20] Buy another device [20:21] ohh, haha ,okay [21:00] I think hotspot might be broken in 22.10 w/backports PPA.... Though my device is AP capabe, HotSpot is not working. In the past, deleting the default hotspot and recreating used would "fix" the issue. However, 2 boxes with 22.10 are refusing to create a stable hotspot connection. Looks lie a bug report is needed.. [21:00] hmm [21:03] Rebooted into Neon dev unstable and hotspot is working perfectly. So definitely a problem with Kubuntu ATM....
