jbichacould we ignore autopkgtests for https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mesa/22.3.6-1ubuntu2 since it fixes an apt file conflict & isn't any worse than the version already in lunar?15:51

ginggsjbicha: please check your libmicrohttpd sync, it may need to be a merge19:32
vpa1977amurray: permission for feature freeze for radare2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/radare2-cutter/+bug/2009553 was granted. Should I open MP with your changes for radare2?19:34
-ubottu:#ubuntu-release- Launchpad bug 2009553 in radare2-cutter (Ubuntu) "[FFe] FTBS radare2-cutter due to radare2 package missing in lunar" [Undecided, Triaged]19:34
ahasenackI'm seeing ppc64el tests (fdroidserver) fail in the install stage (kind: install), where the timeout is 3000s20:42
ahasenackI mean, they fail because the timeout is reached20:42
ahasenackthat's 3000s to apt-get install things, and is not enough?20:42
ahasenackapt is cut short while downloading packages:20:43
ahasenackGet:239 http://ftpmaster.internal/ubuntu lunar/universe ppc64el apksigner all 31.0.2-1 [438 kB]20:43
ahasenackGet:240 http://ftpmaster.internal/ubuntu lunar/main ppc64el openjdk-17-jdk-headless ppc64el 17.0.6+10-1 [217 MB]20:43
ahasenackautopkgtest-virt-ssh [14:38:03]: ------- nova console-log f6af8a17-d7e1-4a88-9b88-03d64515a81a (adt-lunar-ppc64el-fdroidserver-20230308-113039-lrg-root5) ------20:43
ahasenackI don't know what's going on in that dep8 ppc64el "cloud". we can move this package to the bigger timemout class I suppose, if we concede that apt-get install can take 1h20:44
ahasenackor is there some known issue going on over there, like with s390x?20:44
vpa1977Hi, nvda2speechd package attempts to download rust from internet. It is non-free and thus allowed to do it. Should it be removed from Ubuntu as we can not build it? https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvda2speechd/+bug/200974720:49
-ubottu:#ubuntu-release- Launchpad bug 2009747 in nvda2speechd (Ubuntu) "nvda2speechd fails to build due to the external network access" [Undecided, New]20:49
ahasenackoh, openjdk tests are already big_package tests, but since they are versioned, we need to add the new ones to the list21:04
ahasenacklast one was -1421:04
vpa1977ahasenack: I probably should remove jtreg tests from autopkgtest in line with openjdk-17, package aqa-tests and use them for regression. Currently it is rather flaky since we include tier4 tests (performance/stress/flaky) and try to run them in an underprovisioned vm.21:07
ahasenackhmpf, a few days ago, the test passed in less than 30min, and it installed the same amount of packages21:09
ahasenackthe ppc64el vms got slower since then21:09
ahasenackor the network, or disk (while downloading packages)21:09
ahasenackhttps://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/packages/f/fdroidserver/lunar/ppc64el is my sample21:10

amurrayvpa1977: no need for an MP - I can just upload the source package as is and it will get automatically merged into git etc23:55
amurrayvpa1977: done23:58
amurraybah and of course I only now realise that the changelog entry doesn't have the LP bug number in it... sigh23:58
