ItzSwirlz*i meant UIFe01:06
EickmeyerApparently new UIFe or FFe needed, it was a bugfix. Corrected ItzSwirlz accordingly.01:35

tobhenot sure if anyone is still actively monitoring the queue since we're past import freeze. can someone help me approve this got upload ^ :)14:23
xnoxLocutusOfBorg:  i don't want any more syncs of dkms in Lunar, especially when i am on holiday post feature freeze. Epsecially when it is  a no-op. Doing such a sync, has retriggered tests for effectively no change, and burned a lot of CO2 for now reason.14:39
xnoxplease do not forcesync dkms just to get the versions in sync, as each such action, kills the planet a little bit.14:39
LocutusOfBorgxnox, the reason was "fixed kernel on i386", so now the baseline test for i386 is set again to pass14:40
xnoxthat's fair14:41
xnoxfrom the ping above it seemed it was a complete no-op.14:41
LocutusOfBorgmultiarch installation for kernel on i386 was broken, and it set a "regression" on release, due to kernel in proposed being installed even when migration-reference/0 is set14:41
LocutusOfBorgyay, I spoke about i386 regression probably in a different timeframe :)14:41
LocutusOfBorgI waited for the multiarch to fix itself and then did the sync14:42
LocutusOfBorgenjoy your vac :)14:42
xnoxbdmurray:  ginggs: please merge https://code.launchpad.net/~juergh/britney/+git/hints-ubuntu/+merge/439713 it's blocking release of the kernel, that is no longer will ever be testable in adt, yet is stuck awaiting for positive triggered by results. Our infrastructure no longer can reboot into said kernel on arm64; and never was able to do that on armhf.14:42

utkarsh2102so what’s being done by livecd-rootfs (metedata tagging), is it using the seeds by germinating it itself?19:02

ricotzvorlon, hello :), could you let libreoffice/kinetic-proposed transition to -updates?19:21
vorlonutkarsh2102: livecd-rootfs does run germinate separately (it has to now in order to get information about snaps, since those are in seeds but not recorded in the archive)19:23
vorlonricotz: sorry, this is actually a sick day for me today and I have limited time at the keyboard.  check with SRU vanguard?19:23

utkarsh2102out of curiosity, each upload runs that germinate?19:28
vorlonutkarsh2102: it's run on the invocation of livecd-rootfs for an image build19:30

vorlonhmmm maybe I should've made libevent-2.1-7a a dummy package to ensure it gets replaced with libevent-2.1-7 on upgrade from kinetic20:14
vorlonin fact yes I think that's exactly what I should have done20:14
vorlonalso: noooo how are there new NBSes20:15
vorlontkamppeter: libcupsimage2 has a stale Recommends: on libcupsfilters1 that should be updated to libcupsfilters220:17
vorlon(seen via https://ubuntu-archive-team.ubuntu.com/nbs.html)20:17
vorlontkamppeter: and c2esp FTBFS on all archs against current cupsfilters, this needs to be resolved before release by removal or source fix20:29

tillkamppeter@vorlon, I will fix the issues. In CUPS it is probably simply correcting the Recommends in debian/control and for c2esp I already have a patch, as in the Ghostscript Printer Application, where c2esp is included, I use libcupsfilters2 already from the beginning on, something like 1.5 years ago ...21:07
tillkamppeter@vorlon cups_2.4.2-3ubuntu2 with libcupsfilters1 -> libcupsfilters2 uploaded.21:20
tillkamppeter@vorlon Patched c2esp, c2esp_27-11ubuntu1 uploaded.21:38
