[22:43] <ratpats> hiya!  Trying to install ubuntu lunar beta from the iso.  I have a preexisting LVM I'd like to use.  I've enabled it with vgchange -a y and it's clearly there and mountable, but the manual partitioner in the graphical installer can't see it, so I can't choose it to install onto.

[22:54] <ratpats> I'm just doing apt install ubiquity (in the installer boot environment) just because I'm behind a slow internet connection so downloading the whole iso again will take a while!

[22:55] <guiverc> you can use zsync to only download differences in an ISO, not the whole ISO.

[23:14] <guiverc> ratpats, if in doubt I'd always file a bug... if it's expected behavior it will be reported as such & bug closed; but you'll get your answer.  Please report it
