[12:49] good day [12:50] i hope my queation is much easier to answer :) where do i find an Xfce setting that enforces that programs which i start open their windows without immediately getting in the foreground and getting focus [12:50] i so often fall in a trap when i look at the keyboard what i type, and perhaps even hit enter, just to see that it endet in a wrong window [12:56] Kuschelpony: Check out Settings -> Window Management -> Focus -> Focus of new Windows (ro so, got oly German here) [12:57] bin auch deutsch :) [12:57] Thank you im trying [12:57] then it is Einstellungen -> Fensterverwaltung -> Fokus -> Fokus bei neuen Fenstern [12:57] (I figured by the name ;) [12:58] hmm, das war schon ausgeschaltet, hmm i already had switched that off [13:02] check also the other options on that tab. Applications can afaik raise themselves if they want to. Especially applications iwth their own graphical toolkit like to do that (browsers, zoom, other browser-based applications, etc.) [13:33] ok thats perhaps the thing [21:31] I'm trying to install Xubuntu 22.04.2 in Virtualbox. The installation goes fine, but at first reboot it repeatedly enters in a kernel panic: "Kernel Panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)". Does anyone have any idea as to hwat's causing this? === guiverc2 is now known as guiverc
