arraybolt3Shoot. It still is failing.00:01
lubot[telegram] <teward001> you do know the builders are backed up as heck right00:01
lubot[telegram] <teward001> i'd give it hours :P00:01
arraybolt3@teward001: I didn't know.00:01
arraybolt3It migrated to -release.00:02
arraybolt3The log won't even tell me what version of pavucontrol-qt it tried to use :(00:03
lubot[telegram] <teward001> true but mirrors are the problem the builder still uses an internal mirror00:04
lubot[telegram] <teward001> sooooo00:04
lubot[telegram] <teward001> it probably doesnt sync instantly00:04
arraybolt3Oh tar.00:04
arraybolt3I thought since it used ftpmaster.internal that it would be good.00:04
lubot[telegram] <teward001> thats still a cluster of servers :]00:05
arraybolt3Though... I see evidence that it picked up the new version of pavucontrol-qt.00:05
lubot[telegram] <teward001> see patience00:05
arraybolt3From 7 hours ago: "* Chose pulseaudio to satisfy pavucontrol-qt"00:05
arraybolt3From two minutes ago: "* Chose pipewire-pulse to satisfy pavucontrol-qt"00:05
arraybolt3Which means... it's probably something else that's wrong. In which case it's not anything that the lubuntu-desktop metapackage is pulling in, it must be something the seed is doing separately?00:06
* arraybolt3 doesn't even know if that's possible00:06
lubot[telegram] <teward001> i wonder if the iso builder can run locally ...00:06
arraybolt3Oh here's something weird I see both in the working and not-working logs:00:07
arraybolt3* Chose osspd-pulseaudio to satisfy osspd00:07
arraybolt3But this in in the same vicinity where it's doing things like adding emacs and monodoc-http (?!) so...00:08
arraybolt3I'm not sure if it's actually trying to add that to the seed. Idk what on earth it's doing there.00:08
arraybolt3*add that to the ISO I mean00:08
arraybolt3Maybe somehow half of the process is picking up the right package and half of it is picking up the wrong package.00:13
arraybolt3It can't be that osspd-pulseaudio thing causing the problem since it shows up in working build logs too.00:14
arraybolt3And assuming my scan command is right, pavucontrol-qt is the only thing that can be the problem. (https://termbin.com/kz2m being the command I used to scan the dependencies)00:14
arraybolt3Unless of course there's a dependency of one of those things that depends on something else that then pulls in pulseaudio.00:15
arraybolt3(er, that may have been one level too deep but you know what I meant)00:15
arraybolt3Hmm. Let's try something different...00:16
* arraybolt3 uses a different command to scan every single package installed by default on a Lubuntu Lunar ISO I have00:19
arraybolt3Nope. Even that full scan didn't turn up anything new. Either this is something extremely weird that I don't know how to debug, or I just triggered the rebuild too soon.00:35

kgiii_Only of importance to a small number of us, but the daily report pages are loading quickly. They're just like they should be, meaning it doesn't take more than 1.5 minutes for the page to refresh. If anyone knows who fixed it, give 'em a cookie.02:41

guiverc:)02:42
arraybolt3kgiii_: No clue but glad to hear it!03:24
arraybolt3(as in no clue who fixed it)03:24
guiverc^ kgiii i was told (ages back) it would improve once new hardware had arrived & was installed (site moved to newer hardware that had been ordered long back) but haven't heard anything in awhile...05:14
arraybolt3guiverc: I noticed vorlon doing some server migration stuff the other day (some server called "snakefruit" got decommissioned I believe). Ended up causing some problems at first but they got fixed rather quickly. I wonder if that migration is what fixed things.05:23
guivercI have no idea; just on some messages re: iso.qa.ubuntu with Canonical IS I was told the server(s) running it was scheduled for decommission, but newer hardware hadn't arrived & then required staff time needed to do required work etc...05:28
lubot[telegram] <Leokolb> It was fixed by B.Murray a few days ago @guiverc @kgiii_ https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-qa-website/+bug/199645407:38

lubot[telegram] <Leokolb> Built and tested manual partitioning today - looks good (re @lubuntu_bot: (irc) <arraybolt3> Looks like the Lubuntu ISO is building again :D)19:29
