[08:47] <laney> gnome side I'm loving quick settings, and wireguard support in g-c-c. lunar has fixed a bug in pipewire on jammy where I had to unplug/re-plug my mic every day to make it work, should bisect that commit so that I can backport it to the lts.

[08:52] <seb128> so people picking !english still give a live session in english
[08:54] <seb128> I will probably try to move the installer to be in the gdm session similar to gnome-initial-setup, that could also lower a bit resource usage, then picking 'live' would start the session
[08:54] <seb128> though maybe it's ok since having shell loaded for gdm my pre-cache enough that the login is still smooth enough

[08:56] <laney> gdm's transition to the session is pretty nice these days so that should be good still
