[05:18] <dal2> In 22.10 and even earlier versions of Lubuntu, I would live-boot and use the PCManFM-Qt file manager to decrypt a luks-encrypted HDD.
[05:18] <dal2> That decryption would give me permission to access, read, write, etc the entire HDD just fine.
[05:19] <dal2> Now, in 23.04, I can use PCManFM-Qt file manager to decrypt successfully, and it shows me the HDD's name, but it does NOT give me permission anymore to access, read, etc the root dir or subdirectories of the decrypted HDD
[05:20] <dal2> I get a "Permission denied" error whether I use the forget instantly or remember for this session
[05:21] <dal2> I need to see what happens if I try decrypting with the remember forever/always option
[05:21] <dal2> I will go to sleep and test remember forever in the morning and file a bug if necessary but curious if anyone else is seeing this
[05:21] <dal2> It's a lot easier to use the file manager than it is to go to the CLI and use cryptsetup so I hope there's a fix or workaround :)
