kurkkumopo[m]Evening. After I uninstalled the "ubuntustudio-pipewire-config" package and replaced it with the "ubuntustudio-pulseaudio-config" via Ubuntu Studio Installer I haven't been able to remove or install anything with the terminal. Every time I try to either upgrade, install or remove something I get a error message that tells me to use "apt --fix-broken install" to install the "pipewire-pulse" dependency for ubuntustudio-audio and19:04
kurkkumopo[m]ubuntustudio-video packages. Basically the apt --fix-broken install command just offers to install the pipewire-config package back which I don't want and then it would remove the pulseaudio-config package which I need. How can I bypass this?19:04
Eickmeyerkurkkumopo[m]: You did it wrong. All you needed to do was install "ubuntustudio-pulseaudio-config" and it would've removed "ubuntustudio-pipewiere-config" for you.19:05
Eickmeyer(failed to follow instruction)19:05
kurkkumopo[m]I did it exactly like that, but it still gives me that message.19:06
EickmeyerYou said you uninstalled the "ubuntustudio-pipewire-config" first. That's not what the instructions said.19:07
kurkkumopo[m]Ah, can I reverse this by installing the pipewire-config package again and next time just installing the pulseaudio-config without uninstalling the pipewire-config?19:08
EickmeyerIt's worth a shot. The packages were specifically designed to uninstall the other without breaking anything.19:08
EickmeyerUninstalling one before the other *will* break stuff.19:09
kurkkumopo[m]I understand, I'll give it a shot and if it doesn't work I'll just reinstall Ubuntu studio as a whole. Appreciate the help. 👍19:10
EickmeyerI was very intentional with how I designed the packages and how I worded the instructions.19:10
EickmeyerYou're welcome.19:10
kurkkumopo[m]Hi again, I reinstalled Ubuntu Studio as a whole and did the package install again from the Ubuntu Studio Installer this time only installing the ubuntustudio-pulseaudio-config package and not touching the pipewire one, after reboot I get the same error than before.20:03
