[02:33] Hi. I have a usb audio interface and one of the things im interested in doing is automatically controlling mixers from a midi interface. For example one scenario I want is, a single mic input, and two separate buttons which selects two different outputs, or another button will change my headphones to split two different channels on left/right. Is this something Ardour can do for me? Thanks! [02:34] lua maybe? [14:29] hi, do you have somewhere a list of all audio packages that are included in ubuntu studio? [15:26] OK Eickmeyer , on behalf of learnOPENtech, we put some cash in the Ubuntu Studio pot to help support the project! [15:49] learnOPENtechBEC: Thanks! [15:49] akik: `sudo apt-cache depends ubuntustudio-audio ubuntustudio-audio-core ubuntustudio-audio-plugins` would give the answer. [15:50] Unfortunately, it can change to frequently to keep a list. [15:51] Eickmeyer: i don't have it installed, but i just read your web page and it didn't have that list [15:51] akik: If you have Ubuntu installed you can do that command. [15:51] Eickmeyer: ok i have one vm [15:51] thanks [15:52] akik: Any flavor of Ubuntu can do that command and get the list. No flavor of Ubuntu is allowed to have anything outside of what's already in the Ubuntu repositories. [15:53] Website is largely out of date. Time is an issue. [15:54] Eickmeyer: ok i get the list. do you know if kx.studio has some packages that are not included in ubuntu studio? [15:54] They do, but.... [15:54] !kxstudio [15:54] KXStudio is a software repository for Debian-based operating systems for audio production. It is not supported by Ubuntu or Ubuntu Studio, and using its repo is highly discouraged as it can overwrite system and user settings. Support in #kxstudio. We just don't support it and immediately stop helping people if they have problems after installing it. [15:55] ok thanks for the info [17:26] ardour mixer scenes are pretty cool
