Mooncairn | Does anyone have an opinion on Lenovo Flex 5 line of laptops? | 18:42 |
---|---|---|
cmaloney | haven't tried them, though JoDee loved her Uoga from LTU | 18:43 |
cmaloney | it's also twice the price afaict | 18:44 |
Mooncairn | I found a Yoga that's competitively priced to a particular Flex 5 model. The Flex 5 has a 4k 500-nit screen, but other than that the Yoga with a WUXGA 300-nit screen is more powerful (better CPU, better iGPU, faster RAM). | 20:40 |
Mooncairn | I'm currently leaning toward the Yoga. | 20:40 |
Mooncairn | Well, after seeing some comparison videos, the GPU in each both have their pros and cons, but I don't do much gaming ATM even if I like the idea of at least being able to run some games. | 20:58 |
Mooncairn | Or, I could buy a cheap replacement power adapter for my 2009 MacBook Pro and continue kicking the can down the road on a replacement laptop. ;-) | 21:03 |
jrwren | the 15yo mac book pro is superior. :p | 21:22 |
