[14:06] does somebody know how to install minecraft in linux [14:12] Longshot, but does anyone know of an IRC channel for Rhino Linux? Just for comparison, I installed Windows 11 and the sound/volume was just fine. So, somehow (X)Ubuntu is not handling the sound correctly. Does anybody have an idea what the problem could be? [19:08] pjotter1, is your sound server pipewire or pulseaudio? [19:08] pulseaudio [19:10] On the internet, I found different topics about this problem, but all 'sollutions' are pretty vague. [19:10] pjotter1, so maybe try pipewire. [19:13] I might give it a try. See if it improves anything. [19:14] The overall sound is not too bad, but could be a lot better. It;s a bit high pitched, lacks bass and sometimes sounds too loud/distorted even when the volume is turned down. [21:14] diogenes_: Thanks for the tip! I install pipewire and I think it worked. Everything sounds much better now.
