[21:11] <mmikowski> alaa: Mice tied to a specific USB port (typically wireless, but not always), can get hung up on some kernels.  This can become worse if you have a USB mass storage device ("thumb drive") also plugged in at the same time.

[21:24] <mmikowski> I hadn't seen or tested the i915.edp_vswing=2 setting, btw.
[21:26] <mmikowski> however, we do use enable_psr=0, and have not seen that affect the mouse. Of course, ymmv.
[21:28] <mmikowski> I suggest you try focusing on the usb connectors. Try swapping to another usb plug; make sure you don't have a thumb driver installed; try a wired mouse.  My guess is you will find a solution that works there.
[21:29] <mmikowski> The other trouble can be wifi interference. In that case, you can try switching channels on the mx master 3. Use Solaar to switch channels on your device. You might also disconnect and reconnect.
[21:29] <mmikowski> While that sound exhausting, one can cycle through all those checks in maybe 5-10 minutes.
