[18:28] <p3lim> figured what caused it atleast; if behind an enterprise proxy and the ubuntu apt repo is not available through it the installer crashes instead of falling back on the cdrom, disabling the network fixes it
[18:29] <p3lim> we use a separate repo through a proxy that requires authentication, which I can't set up in the installer, so we need to default on cdrom during installation
