Bashing-omUWN: Working to make it so - will return with that good news.20:00
jpt9Hey.  I've got a fresh (as of Saturday) 23.04 install.  I just ran Software Updater and installed updates, but apt is still listing some packages as upgradable but held back (https://pastebin.com/KhjfrJLr).  I'm not sure what's going on -- should I manually install the packages, or is it just holding back packages due to an issue with dependencies or something that will get resolved later?23:37
jpt9Never mind -- just did some Googling, and it's just phased updates.23:47
jpt9https://askubuntu.com/questions/1431940/what-are-phased-updates-and-why-does-ubuntu-use-them and https://askubuntu.com/questions/601/the-following-packages-have-been-kept-back-why-and-how-do-i-solve-it for more details if anyone comes across the logs for this channel later while trying to solve a similar issue.23:50
