[09:46] <adrien> the general idea is the same: strace tracks the kernel API/ABI and its version should match the one of the kernel so that everything is properly exposed; there are also cases where there's been an FTBFS due to version mismatches
[09:47] <adrien> kernel 6.5 was released last sunday and strace 6.5 isn't yet released but I'm confident it will happen soon; if it doesn't, strace 6.4 will still be better than the current 6.2
