=== rharper_ is now known as rharper [15:59] "s390x 33 12831 jobs (41 hours)" !! [15:59] just arm64, armhf and s390x backed up, the rest has an empty queue according to https://launchpad.net/builders [16:00] Test rebuilds plus OpenStack unreliability [17:12] dbungert: re bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/subiquity/+bug/2033991 the ship-live seed was updated but the OP reports the same install failure issue. Any ideas? [17:12] -ubottu:#ubuntu-devel- Launchpad bug 2033991 in ubuntu-budgie-meta (Ubuntu) "Ubuntu Budgie - Installation failed" [High, Fix Committed] [17:16] fossfreedom_: good question. I can see that some of the changes made it there, in the form of pool packages being present on today's iso that were not there yesterday, but not all the grub stuff. [17:18] The grub signed packages were already in ship-live. I didn't spot any others listed in ubuntu's core dev seed that wasn't already in our ship-live [17:25] fossfreedom_: in the build log is "Promoted grub-efi-amd64-signed from ship-live to live to satisfy shim-signed" - I think budgie ship-live needs "shim-signed [amd64]" again. [17:30] shim-signed is already is ship-live dbungert . Does the [amd64] make a difference since the seed doesn't have this clarification [17:34] shim-signed [amd64] is in the live seed as well [17:39] grub-pc [amd64] isn't in our live seed though. [17:39] I'm wondering about the "ship-live: boot live" line in STRUCTURE, I think that relationship between ship-live and live is not helping [17:42] I can change that if you think it would help to ship-live: desktop-minimal ... and kick off a respin [17:44] We also don't have ship:boot desktop ... dunno what all of this means in terms of affecting the build process [17:55] fossfreedom_: looking at some germinate output, I do think your suggested change to STRUCTURE will address this [17:57] Okey dokey. I will make these two changes and kick off a rebuild. Thx for all your help. [17:58] :) [18:48] dbungert: sadly the build with those changes crashed and burned https://ubuntu-archive-team.ubuntu.com/cd-build-logs/ubuntu-budgie/mantic/daily-live-20230908.1.log [18:59] fossfreedom_: looking for a non-existant ship seed I think [19:04] Ah. Let me copy ubuntu's ship seed [19:49] seb128: Hi! Saw that you uploaded ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu earlier. I just added a bunch of changes for Edubuntu and Ubuntu Studio (I was given direct commit access), is it too late to request another upload? [20:13] Probably given it is after 2200 in France. [20:13] and a Friday no less [20:19] bdmurray: Fair point. [20:30] Eickmeyer, I will try to do an upload of Monday if you don't find another sponsor before [20:31] seb128: Sounds good. It'll just sit there until someone feels inspried. (didn't expect you to still be awake) [20:38] Eickmeyer, I stepped out a bit earlier to enjoy the summer weather we still have this week so I let my IRC open to check backlog on the way back, I'm not planning to go back in workmode now though but at least I'm aware of the request :-) [20:38] seb128: Sounds great. Thanks! [20:38] np!
