IrcsomeBot_<jesusguevara> I tried this solution, but it didn't work, it keeps jumping to the dialog box: "Authentication Required PolicyKit1 KDE Agent, System policy prevents Wi-Fi Scans".01:27

Drew50Made a USB boot for kubuntu 23.04.  Had to use the "safe graphics" mode to install on an old Polywell i7 CPU 860 (64 bit).  The Polywell only has a DVI output which I convert to HDMI for the monitor input.  Graphics worked fine for the install but now when I boot I get these error messages:15:25
Drew50No server specified, no suitable video mode found, no video mode activated and the monitor gives me a "no HDMI signal from device.  Then the screen goes black.  I tried all the video options in the boot menu (auto, Ext Pci E Graphics (PEG) and Ext Pci graphics) But no change in the video output.15:28
diogenes_Vx15Drew50, does it boot into Wayland or X?15:38
Drew50How can I tell?15:39
diogenes_Vx15Drew50, when you get to the login screen15:40
Drew50I don't get a login screen since there is no video output.15:41
Drew50All I get is the three error messages and the monitor goes blackl15:42
diogenes_Vx15Drew50, so no video output comes right after BIOS screen? or it doesn't come up at all?15:42
Drew50I can work in the BIOS, but after that nothing comes up.15:42
Drew50I tried all the video options in the BIOS15:43
Drew50video output works for BIOS but not for kubuntu.15:44
diogenes_Vx15Drew50, that requires more troubleshooting but i'm a bit busy now.15:45
Drew50Thanks for checking.15:45
Drew50I'll try the "ask ubuntu" forum.15:46
